Would you buy this house?

We had a great long weekend, unfortunately we didn't get as much done as I would have liked and I started lots of projects but never finished them.
I did come across this house for sale and thought I would ask your opinion on it, this is the real estate description.....
Just a few years old is this large 4 bedroom home with double garage set on 6 acres in Milthorpe. Featuring a dam, bore, generous double shed, chook shed, fenced off area for the animals and plenty more. Amazing value in such a great location. You really must make time to see this opportunity. Blinds, Curtains, Dishwasher, Insect screens, Range hood, External TV antenna, Built-in wardrobes, Clothes line, Fixed floor coverings, Light fittings, Stove.
Not too bad so far but I still don't like the way people paint the cornices and the skirting boards in dark colours and I am not sure that the blue goes that well with the colour of the carpet or the curtains. Hmmmmm, interesting ......................... But wait, there's more and this is the best.....
????????? WHY ?????????
I know I am really conservative when it comes to the use of colour in my house and I believe that the big stuff like tiles etc should be fairly neutral, then you can switch your accessories around really easily when you get sick of a particular colour.
Does anyone like the colour choices in this house? What would you look for if you were buying a house? could you look past the colour choices of the current owners. We had to when we bought our house but we were fortunate that a lot of people couldn't see past the bright colours and we got the house for a great price.
I don't mean to offend anyone, sorry if I did.
I don't like it but if you do then you can buy it, just visit here for more details.
I'd love to hear your opinion.
Have a great day!

Dream Home

Welcome to my new home, we have lots of room to move with a total of 4,471sqm of house set on 29 acres. The views are just spectacular, you can see over to North Stradbroke Island not to mention the Koala Sanctuary and our own lake.
There is plenty of room to park your car and you can choose one of the seven bedrooms to stay in.
You must be hungry after you trip, come through to the kitchen and I can make you something to eat.
Unfortunately all of the furniture hasn't arrived and I would love your opinion on how best to furnish the house, there are wonderful long hallways that we could hang some great works of art or a selection of family portraits.
What shall I place in the entry here, I think I will have to find some big pieces of furniture to fill this space as any normal sized items will just look silly.
What about the ballroom? Shall I strategically place clusters of seating around the room leaving plenty of space for dancing in the centre?
Come upstairs, you can freshen up in the bathroom....
I'll meet you back downstairs in this room overlooking the pool and we can decide how to best use this space, so it is not wasted.
When we've had enough decorating we can relax with a nice swim in the pool.
What do you think? Is this a hugely extravagant house. Would you be happy in something this size?
