Wall Art

Happy Monday everyone!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
We had a productive weekend and got another bathroom project finished, I am very excited about it and I will share it later on in the week.
Today I thought I would share my artwork I created using the free downloads from the Paint Place.
I can't remember who I got these from originally but a few bloggers have shared this site before.
You can find them here.
I chose the prints I wanted to use and re sized them as required.
I printed one on plain paper and I printed the other one on an old sheet of music. I bought a music book from the 2nd hand charity store specifically to use for craft projects.
I embellished both prints using items from my scrap booking and card making supply.
They didn't take long to make and I did one each evening after work.
We had the frames from a previous trip to Ikea and I had all the craft supplies.
I had this blank wall that was just begging for adornment.
Please ignore the lack of pelmet, another project that we are yet to finish!
I spread the frames out on the floor and played around with them until I found a layout that I was happy with and that fit the space. We will put some New Zealand photos in the empty frames. Just waiting on WH to finish editing them.
I am thinking that I may cut the dividers out of the matting in the long frame and use the frame for a panoramic photo. The top wall hanging was given to us by WH's lovely parents when we bought this house.

It is a beautiful saying and a great reminder to have.

Thanks to everyone who stops by to read my ramblings and thank you to all of the lovely people who leave such encouraging comments. I enjoy reading them all and appreciate that you take the time to leave them.
I am looking forward to catching up with everyone through the week.
Have a great Monday!
xx
