These last few weeks I have been reminded of just how fortunate I am to be surrounded by people who care about me and and of just how blessed I am in my life.
One such blessing was this beautiful package that I received in the post from my lovely friend Donna from Rosebuds and Bluebells
I was the lucky winner of her recent giveaway and this gift arrived on one of those days where it really made a huge difference to the way I felt.
I adore pretty things and this set is definitely pretty, in fact I still have it set up just so, near my desk at home so I can admire it.
If you haven't been over to Donna's blog yet you should, she is so creative and always full of inspiration.
Isn't that teaspoon divine?
I love a bit of bling and Donna's personalised tag made me feel very special indeed.
For anyone interested in my current health drama I visited the Gynecologist today and we have been advised to wait and see if the Uterine ArterioVenous Malformation heals itself. He is recommending that we wait for 4 months to see what happens. It seems to be an uncommon problem and if you have ever come across it and can share what you know I would love to hear more. It seems that the way that the way to deal with it used to be a full hysterectomy, however given we wish to have more children this is not really an option.
Speaking of health I want to say a really big thank you to everyone who left me supportive comments and for all of your prayers. I really am so grateful and can't thank you enough!
Another big thank you goes to Sandy from Paint me White. I was the very ecstatic winner of her gorgeous lamp and lampshade. Sandy is so crafty and always has fabulous projects to show off. She made this lampshade herself and I was so thrilled to win it.
If you have somehow missed Sandy's blog then head straight over, she has a beautiful house and revamps all sorts of fabulous furniture that she then sells. Her house is always changing as she makes room for her finished projects prior to sending them off to there new home.
I will show you where my adorable new lamp lives in one of my future before and after posts.
Hope you are all having a great week so far!
xx

Congrats! I can tell why you are thrilled! I hope you are doing well and glad to see you are posting again :) Missed you!!
ReplyDeleteHi Nellie, your number seems to come up a lot in giveaways!!! I totally agree with Tina, you are so deserving and its good karma coming right back to you! I wish I could help on the uterine problems.. I have never heard of anyone having it before; but I have in the past couple of years seen a few friends with quite extreme conditions manage to fall pregnant (although; with some help from ivf) and everything went really well in the end. Dont give up hope. Thankyou for your gorgeous comments yesterday, it really did make me smile, and i certainly do wish we lived near... Its one of the downsides of blogging I suppose; meeting beautiful people who live too far apart! Still, glad you are feeling up to posting again xxoooxxx
ReplyDeletehugs from Laura xxxx
how cute is that name tag like that "for you ..." - I love that!! (btw, don't mean to rain on your parade, but I have a set of those gorgeous teaspoons and they are so cute till the diamond on the end falls off - although we probably shouldn't put them through the dishwasher!!! - lazy us!)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the wins Nellie, they are both lovely prizes from lovely bloggers and I think you deserve a little sunshine at the moment. I hope you are feeling well in yourself and this current issue resolves itself quickly so that you and your family can get on with life. Keep smiling Nellie. ;-)
